If crimped correctly, a sleeved line is stronger than a knot and has 100 percent breaking strength. You will notice on the line sizes below that there is no 100lb crimp. It's because of the way that the sleeves are manufactured and aren't made at the 100lb diameter. It is better to go with a little bigger crimp than a little smaller crimp, but they both will work.
