Nicks Fat Caddass was developed as a heavy fly with little to no resistance in the water, meaning this fly will drop in depth fast. I often use this fly as a caddis imitation, but it can also be used to mimic several other insects found in Colorado’s waters. The CDC adds to the life like appearance, and the body profile was specifically designed to add to the life like appearance.
